First Look: Onepoint on Apple's iPad
As you have probably already suspected, I cannot order an iPad for the Onepoint office and not having a mobile version of Onepoint Project running on it ;-). So we experimented a little bit with Apple's iPad Simulator and came up with this gorgeous dashboard for our soon-to-be-released Onepoint Project 10 server editions...
As indicated in my previous blog post, I believe that the iPad is a great tool to collaborate and to share information - especially in meeting situations. In order to support our internal project meetings we have come up with the following prototype of an iPad multi-project dashboard hoping that our customers and partners like the idea it, too.
We will launch the Onepoint iPad app together or slightly after the release of Onepoint Project 10, because it uses the new REST and Web Services communication framework that comes with the new server versions. The app will also feature an offline project database meaning that you will be able to use it even in situations when you do not have mobile Internet access. Stay tuned for more information about our new iPad app on the soon-to-be-launched Onepoint Innovation blog on the Onepoint website!
